My name is Lavinia Zoica, I am a student photographer based in London, and my photography is a reflection of my fascination with people and the places we inhabit. My curiosity about human behaviour and society has inspired my photography, which focuses on the relationships between people and the political, social, and economic contexts that surround them.
When I am not working on a specific project, my photography is unplanned and candid, always capturing spontaneous events and serendipitous occurrences that transform otherwise ordinary scenes into moments of theatre. I search for fleeting movements, flashes of color, gestures and glances, and moments of connection in the urban flow.
In the midst of the city, where the public and private spheres collide, I feel most at home.
